Updating My Apartment with Desenio Posters and Prints

After moving into my apartment in February, we have slowly been adding some final touches and Desenio was nice enough to help up with that. They sent over 3 different posters and frames and I love each of them. They work with the aesthetic of my home and could easily go in any room in my apartment. I’m obsessed with line art prints which is why I picked the smaller two pieces.

My aesthetic is modern Bohemain. We have a blue couch and these adorable wooden coffee tables that are a Bohemian dream. My favorite piece of the 3 is the largest piece

Again modern piece but the line art and colors make it a little more boho. Fits this area of the house perfectly. Cannot say enough good things about these prints. Add a splash of art to your home with Desenio wall art.

Date Night at the Rooftop Cinema Downtown San Diego

 Since the reopening of activities in California Rooftop Cinema has been on my list of things to try. They asked me to stop by and I was more than willing. We signed up for the movie  A Star is Born. They play multiple movies a day and have showings daily. They serve alcoholic beverages from beer and wine to cocktails and soda. 

Along with a variety of snacks, they have larger menu items for lunch or dinner. I think it is totally worth the experience. Note this is on the 4th floor of the Grand Hyatt hotel. Summer is here and so is the rising temperature. I live in tank tops all summer and while I love a basic tee or tank. I also like a pop of color. So cute. Need it in my closet.

Scunci Medium No Slip Grip Jaw Clips

If you’ve jumped on this neutral trend then these clips or perfect for you. I where them all the time and these are so aesthetic… LOVE!

Ruched Side Bodycon Dress

Short cinched dresses are everywhere this summer. If you are interested in a cute dress at an affordable price I would try this out.

These bags are so on trend and I can’t get enough. Target has been switching up this section a lot and I’m here for it.

I only wear gold jewelry and I end up picking up something from this section every time I go. These are $12 and I love them.

Target has so many fun graphic tees. I have so many of their tee’s because they are so comfortable. A must try.

Shoulder Bag

I have this bag and blue and it is so cute! Great for a brunch or dinner. I could pair so many fun outfits with and I use it frequently :). 

Crossbody Bag 

This is their camera bag, but it looks like the Lulu Lemon cross body. I need to get my hands on this. 

Ulivo Italian Food San Diego

I love a local Restaurant and Ulivo in Ocean Beach is a favorite. The food is authentic Italian Cuisine. Locally owned and run, it is a great spot. Come hungry because the portions are large and delicious. They have amazing specials and every day dishes that they rotate on the menu.

 The Short Rib with papardelle is my favorite regular item on the menu…. And the specials are always amazing. The short rib with the polenta was a favorite but isn’t always on the menu. 

The dessert is also a necessity when visiting Ulivo. I had tiramisu and it’s heavenly. Enough to split with someone ( if they’re lucky) and they are always coming up with new dishes. It’s a great small Italian spot. Great for families or small parties. They also take reservations if you have a larger a group. Cannot say enough good things. You have to try it!  

 

Honey’s Bistro and Bakery: My Favorite Brunch Spot in Encinitas

I could eat at a different brunch spot everyday of my life. I love to eat and I am starving when I wake up. For my Birthday my friend Brittany took me to Honey’s Bistro and it was insane. 

They have shrimp Bloody Mary’s, amazing mimosas and so many other drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). All the food was amazing. I’ve never had such amazing French toast at a restaurant.

 Not to sweet and they were delicious. We were starving when we arrived and more than satisfied when we left. I will definitely be taking my boyfriend there and I cannot wait to go back. What’s your favorite brunch spot in San Diego?

Azuki Sushi. One of My Favorite Sushi Spots.

Down town San Diego has some of my favorite restaurants in the whole county. Sushi is one of my favorites and their are so many great places to go being right next to the water. A new favorite spot is Azuki sushi. This cute little spot down town has a beautiful cozy outdoor back patio, indoor seating, and a beautiful bistro style front seating area. 

They have little cafe table set ups and it makes for some beautiful ambiance. We had garlic edamame and miso soup. Both delicious. As far as rolls go we had stardust and scorpion. Stardust was an albacore, gobo, avocado topped with yellowtail, lemon slices, garlic ponzu roll. Lemon and fish is my favorite and a little lemon slice with any type of sushi and I’m in. Adds that little acidic bite. 

The Scorpion roll had tempura softshell crab, snow crab, avocado, cucumber, gobo wrapped in soy paper. If a roll has  Tempura soft shell crab in in it… i'm probably getting it. On top of the rolls we had blue fin tuna nigiri. Was melt in your mouth amazing. Could not be happier with all the food we had. I can’t wait to go back. Javier’s in La Jolla

Stopped by Javier’s last night after trouble shooting some issues at the apple store. Javier’s is located in UTC and is a beautiful location. The ambience is amazing, the lighting is perfect, and the over all aesthetic is perfect for the beachy area it’s located in. 

 

We ordered the queso fundido and empanadas to start. Fundido is a type of queso that is thicker and more stringy then a regular queso. It’s amazing but if you are looking for liquid gold this is not for you. I’ve always loved it but it’s not for everyone. 

These shrimp empanadas are insaaaaannnneeeee. They are filled with shrimp and a cilantro jalapeño sauce. It’s 3 bites of delicious goodness and it is filling. Plate comes with 3. We just couldn’t wait to eat it before I grabbed a photo. 

I ordered beef enchiladas and tacos. Great flavors and was over all so happy with this meal. Will be going back. Have you been? Let me know would love to hear about your experience.
